Prospective dual credit instructors through Triton College are required to provide the information listed below. The first four bullets can be uploaded when an applicant completes a dual credit adjunct application.
- Cover letter
- Resume
- Teaching philosophy
- Unofficial transcripts (For early review, prior to official transcripts being submitted).
- Have official transcripts sent to Dean Alexandria Terrazas and Brandon Marks at Triton College to be included in the final dual credit adjunct credentialing packet.
- Inform the Proviso Township High Schools District 209 Office of Early College at cte_earlycollege@pths209.org of the course the instructor would like to be qualified to teach, and the Proviso office will forward your information to the Triton College Office of Early College.
After all required documents and information are submitted:
- The Department Chairperson will review the applicants’ qualifications based on the course(s) they are applying to teach.
- The applicant will interview with the Chairperson if the qualifications are aligned with the course credentialing.
- The applicant will interview with the Department Dean if the Chairperson approves the credentials to teach the courses the instructor is applying to teach.
- The Vice President of Academics will sign off as a final approval.
Toni Johnson, Director of Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment Programs at Triton College, will then send the applicant a final dual credit adjunct approval letter via email.
