Krish Mohip, a seasoned educational leader with 25 years of experience, was appointed Superintendent of Schools for Proviso Township High Schools District 209, effective December 2, 2024. His career spans a variety of impactful roles, including teacher, assistant principal, principal, Chief of Schools for Chicago Public Schools, CEO of Youngstown City Schools, and multiple leadership positions at the Illinois State Board of Education, where he served as Deputy Chief Education Officer, Chief Education Officer, and Interim State Superintendent.

Throughout his career, Mohip has exemplified a dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments, improving academic outcomes, and enhancing community engagement. His leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, resource optimization, and creating equitable opportunities for all students.
