The Family and Consumer Sciences Department empowers students with the knowledge and skills to manage personal, family, and community challenges.  We provide opportunities for students to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors needed for success.  Students participating in Family and Consumer Sciences courses learn effective methods for shopping, sewing, childcare, clothing care, cooking, nutrition and careers in the food industry.
