The Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) program instills a value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment in cadets. The NJROTC program builds strength of character, and encourages self-reliance, respect, and individual self-discipline. The program does not seek any commitment from cadets to enter the military.
