Degree: Bachelor of Arts from Mount Mary University, with teaching certificate in Art Education and Family and Consumer Science, National Restaurant Association ProStart (culinary) training Levels 1, 2 & 3
Something about me: I enjoy mysteries in all forms, books, plays, old movies, etc. as well as cooking, baking, art work, gardening, travel and swimming.
Previous job experience: Taught elementary school, Corporate Instructor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Newspaper composing room artist, occasional reporter, Hospitality and Culinary at a Banquet Hall, Retail employee, Travel Agent for corporate and individual travel, Corporate Meeting Planner, Tour Escort/guide for groups to Europe as well as "The Road that Led to Freedom" ending in Canada, returning to High School Family and Consumer Science Teacher in Chicago.
I started teaching at West in 2008 in the Family and Consumer Science Department as a Culinary Teacher. I joined the Fine Arts Department in 2018 and now teach Art.
