March 20, 2020 Update:
As the health and safety of all D209 students and staff continues to be our first priority amid the evolving global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, PTHS D209 had made the decision to close schools beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. Below you will find an updated school schedule which includes a tentative re-opening on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 along with details on the supports PTHS D209 is providing to our families. While we assist our families during this time, PTHS D209 will continue to promote social distancing as this has been shown to be effective in slowing the spread of COVID-19.
Monday, March 16 - Friday, March 20: E-Learning. Students engage in e-learning activities from home and do not report to school.
Monday, March 23 - Friday, March 27: Spring Break
Monday, March 30 - Tuesday, April 7: E-Learning. Students engage in e-learning activities from home and do not report to school.
Wednesday, April 8: Tentative re-opening. All students and staff return.
Although we have no confirmed cases of coronavirus in PTHS D209, please note that, as we do in all health-related cases, we will remain alert on this issue while continuing to follow proper health and safety precautions from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and CDC.
