Policy

District 209 subscribes to a policy service through IASB (Illinois Association of School Boards) called PRESS Plus(Policy Reference Education Subscription Service) to assist in maintaining its board policy. Each year PRESS Plus updates school board policy for school districts to adopt. Below is the timeline of when each policy section is updated/reviewed by PRESS Plus and shared with the District:

January - Section 1 (School District Organization), Section 3 (General School Administration), Section 8 (Community Relations)

March - Section 5 (Personnel)

May - Section 7 (Students)

July - Section 4 (Operational Services)

September - Section 2 (School Board)

November - Section 6 (Instruction)
