Information for SY27 Cosmetology & Barber

Update on Cosmetology and Barber Program Selection for the 2025–2026 School Year 

Our district is temporarily delaying the selection of students for next year’s Cosmetology and Barber programs. 
This pause is necessary because the district will be issuing a formal bid for these services. As part of this process, outside businesses will have the opportunity to submit proposals to become the program’s vendor for the upcoming school year. 

Once the bidding process is complete and a vendor has been selected, we will resume the student placement process and share updated timelines with families and students. 

Barber Bidding Timeline:  

  • Pre-Bid Meeting: April 9th at 9am 
  • Bid Deadlines: April 15th at 11am 
  • Bid Opens: April 15th at 2pm 

Cosmetology Bidding Timeline 

  • Pre-Bid Meeting: April 10th at 11am 
  • Bid Deadlines: April 16th at 11am 
  • Bid Opens: April 5th at 2pm
