Reporting an Absence
When a student will be absent, his or her parent or guardian MUST call the Attendance Center at the numbers listed below on the date of the absence, in order for the absence to be authorized. Parents should be ready to supply the following information when calling:

• Student’s name and ID number
• Date(s) of absence
• Reason(s) for absence
• Parent/Guardian’s name, and relationship
• A daytime phone number where the parent/guardian can be reached
