There are now even more ways to get information regarding the schools of Proviso Township High Schools District 209.
PTHS 209 recently signed on to Twitter. In addition, the District is partnering with High School Cube to broadcast the home football games for Proviso East High School and Proviso West High School as well as select away games. They are both other ways that the District is working to build bridges to success by increasing communication avenues, boosting its presence on the web, and connecting with stakeholders across multiple platforms.
"It is extremely important for us to keep an open line of communication with stakeholders in District 209 who have a vested interest in the progress and success of our school system," said Mr. Rob Daniel, community and public relations coordinator for District 209. "Hopefully, by utilizing these methods of communication, we can have a more informed, involved, and active following. We hope that parents, teachers, our alumni, and our students will find us so that we can all stay connected and continue to inform."

"We have many talented student-athletes at Proviso East, Proviso West, and PMSA, and we need to find ways of showing their talents in different venues and areas," Mr. Daniel said. "With High School Cube and their partnerships with other media such as the Chicago Sun-Times, we can accomplish this and broaden the scope in which we are delivering the good news about our district to the community."
Mr. Daniel added that plans are in the works for District 209 to communicate on other social media platforms. In addition, there is hope for the District’s partnership with High School Cube to other sports and activities in the future.
