Hillside, IL...At Proviso West High School, supporting and promoting higher education is a top priority. On Wednesday, December 7th, from 6-8 p.m., the Proviso West Panthers will host Financial Aid Night for parents and students.

"We want to do all that we can to help our parents and our students become college ready," said Proviso West principal, Dr. Kirkwood. "The most important thing about Financial Aid Night is to have parents look at their options and different ways that they may be able to finance their children’s education. We want to show them what opportunities are available to assist their students in seeking a college education."

Proviso West will host financial aid presentations in both English and Spanish. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) will also present. ISAC advises students about careers, college admissions, financial aid programs that are available and how to apply for them. Financial Aid Night activities are focused on helping families navigate the numerous steps involved in career and college planning as well as finding, applying to, and paying for college.

The English presentation of Financial Aid Night will take place in Proviso West’s Little Theater from 6pm-8pm. The Spanish presentation will be hosted in room E5 during that same time.
