Forest Park, IL... PTHS 209's Madrigal Singers cordially invites the Proviso Township Community to attend its 34th Annual Madrigal Dinner & Fundraiser, featuring the Madrigal Singers of both Proviso East and Proviso West High School.

The Madrigal Singers are a highly select group of high school singers. They entertain and amaze while performing a repertoire of chamber choral music spanning the past eight centuries. The Madrigal Singers appear in elegant period costume and bring the music, drama, food, and spirit of an Old English Renaissance Christmas.

This year's event will commemorate Proviso West High School's 50th anniversary. It also marks the fourth year of the Proviso East-West Combined Madrigal Dinner-Concert. Special guests this year include: Mr. Daniel Salotti (former Madrigal Sponsor & teacher at Proviso East) and the Madrigal Alumni Chorale.

The Dinner will be held Sat., Dec. 20 and Sun. Dec. 21, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at Proviso West High School. Tickets are $23.00 for students, alumni, and senior citizens. Tickets are $25.00 for adults over 18 years of age. All attendees must purchase tickets and register no later than Monday, December 1, 2008.

All proceeds from the event will help fund various choral music programs and PTHS 209 student activities.
